Kinzie oversees all aspects of the digital strategy at Paula Deen Ventures, including the social media, email marketing, website, SEO, and digital advertising partners. She and her team create engaging strategies to drive email signups, website traffic, social media followers, and video viewers to maximize our ad revenue on each platform. In addition, Kinzie creates compelling campaigns to promote & sell her products, available via her partners, including her cookbooks, magazines, jewelry, cookware, small appliances, and various other food & retail items.
As a content marketer, Kinzie’s #1 priority is to create a content strategy that aligns with the business’ goals and helps customers move through their purchase journey. This starts with using data to create a holistic view of the customer persona so that she can create content that solves their pain points, answers their questions, provides value, and truly resonates with them.
Blogs, video, photos, social content, recipes, emails, lead magnets—Kinzie has created countless content pieces in her decade-plus working as a content strategist. Her secret to creating content that works is a combination of her well-honed instincts and the ability to read data & analytics and translate it to weave a compelling narrative or direct a customer or stakeholder to act. She uses her knowledge of SEO to research trending keywords and topics and write SEO-optimized copy to magnify the reach of each piece.
A successful project manager, Kinzie is adept at juggling multiple projects with various budgets and timelines, ensuring completed projects exceed expectations and are on time and under budget.
Not only does Kinzie plan and create content, but she’s also knowledgeable about a number of content management systems, allowing her to push out the content herself. Ever learning and growing as a strategist, Kinzie is always eager to learn new tools & technologies continuously research emerging industry trends.

In an effort to grow our email subscriber base, I created three printable resources that Paula’s fans would receive upon signing up to receive Paula’s email newsletters. They included a Weekly Meal Planner, a Shopping List, and a Common Baking Substitutions Reference Guide. These lead generation efforts yielded more than 3,500 new subscribers.
